Hello, everyone! If you haven’t known yet, aside from being a public school teacher, I’m also a mother to a very lively toddler. Like any other parents, I want all the best for her and that includes providing her with a fun-filled summer, learning while making friends and playing. I would also be there all the time since it’s vacation and we are not required to come to school.
Last year, I enrolled my daughter to a very good Summer Learning Activity by the Galileo Enrichment Program. The theme for last year was Summer Zoofari wherein they get to know about different kinds of plants and animals while developing their social skills, eye-hand coordination, gross and fine motor skills. We also went on a field trip (with us, parents, of course!) to concretize what they learned in the program. If you want to learn more about our fun-filled summer last year, read it from my post: 4 Things to Like About the Galileo Little Explorers Program
This year, I was once again invited to enroll my kid in their summer program and I got excited when I saw the poster. At this time, most of our kids no longer play or are not even aware of Pinoy games and culture. When we were kids, we used to enjoy playing outside and with friends. So, I thought why not expose my kid to Filipino games and culture this summer? Plus, she gets to learn in the process too, like what she experienced last year. This summer is going to be fun… and somehow, patriotic too. 🙂
If you are interested in enrolling your child in this program, inquire in the Galileo’s FB page or get more information at their website. Galileo Enrichment Program has centers to most big cities in the Philippines.
If you are specifically from Cagayan de Oro, you may inquire directly from the Galileo Cagayan de Oro.
Let’s have a fun summer, everyone!
